The Add to Calendar feature allows users to seamlessly add events and programs to their personal calendars from their mobile devices or tablets. This functionality helps users remember important dates and times by integrating directly with their device's native calendar application.
Creating an Add to Calendar Asset
Navigate to the Media Library in Backstage
Click "New Media" in the top right corner
Select "Add to Calendar" from the dropdown menu
Add to Calendar Preset
Complete the required fields:
Title: Enter the name of the event as it will appear in the user's calendar
Description: Enter details about the event (this will be displayed in the calendar entry)
Thumbnail: Upload an image that will serve as a visual reference in the app
Under Additional Information, set the following parameters:
startDate: Enter the event start date and time
endDate: Enter the event end date and time

TIP: If the startDate and endDate are in the past, the asset will not display the "Add to Calendar" button on its banner image

NOTE: The Time and Date must be in the defined Time Zone for your Tenant. Incorrect time zone formats may result in calendar entries appearing at unexpected times for users.
